Call for Proposals
Length of abstract: 300 words or fewer
Format:
- Multi-paper session: Submit a proposal for multi-paper session focused on a particular modeling technique or problem (3 papers, 70 minutes)
- Paper: Submit an individual paper (15 minutes)
- Demonstration: Propose a demonstration of a modeling technique (70 minutes)
We are especially interested in papers, demonstrations, and posters on:
- Trans-disciplinary (linked) modeling that involves the integration of knowledge and practice across the natural and social, behavioral, and economic sciences, public health, and other related disciplines
- Participatory modeling that involves stakeholders from a wide range of sectors in conceptualizing, representing, and managing complex problems
- Quantitative and qualitative systems modeling techniques including, but not limited to, system dynamics modeling, social network analysis, and agent-based modeling
